all new houses and extensions and also for change of use of a building If
the barn or the loft are not registered as habitable space you need a Permis
de Construire

Small extensions (less than 20 m˛) and
external changes to a house require only a Declaration de Travaux

A 'dossier' of plans photos and forms
are required for either permission

| Quotation |
In French this is the Devis and
is a detailed and priced list of the work to be done |

Once accepted this Devis signed by both
parties forms the contract for the project

| The work

All our work except for ground works
is carried out by our own workers They are employed by us and we are responsible
for the work Building work in France is guaranteed for 10 years

| Insurance |
As well as Public and Site insurances
there is an obligatory 10 year insurance 'Décenniale' which covers all our
work
